On June 19th and 20th, tens of thousands of festival goers and 500 youth delegates from across the country, will come together for the world's first two-day Outdoor Youth Summit and Festival in New York City's famed Central Park. Presented by The North Face®, Outdoor Nation will combine outdoor activities and advocacy to raise awareness about the important role that the outdoors and recreational activities play in healthy active lifestyles.

Adventures NYC // Saturday, June 19th, 2010

Outdoor Nation will kick-off at the 6th annual Adventures NYC festival—a spectacular day of outdoor adventure in Central Park! Throughout the day, youth delegates and the general public will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of outdoor activities from climbing and paddling to cycling and fishing. Adventures NYC is the nation’s largest urban outdoor festival providing the ideal stage for the inaugural Outdoor Nation gathering.

Hours: 12:00pm – 4:00pm
Participation: Event is free and open to the general public.

Youth Summit // Sunday, June 20th, 2010

500 young people (ages 16-26) from all 50 states will take part in a national summit to champion the outdoors and build a strong Outdoor Nation for all Americans. This ground-breaking event will harness the passion, energy and ideas of 500 youth delegates who will work together to develop a national agenda, set top priorities and outline solutions for a youth led outdoor revolution.

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Participation: Active participation will be limited to youth delegates. The general public is invited to listen-in.
